Backups

Please backup your favorites folder and move any files on your desktop. When files are saved to the desktop, they are actually being saved to the computer's hard drive (C). If the computer hard drive fails or if you switch to a different computer your files will be lost. When files are saved to the My Documents folder, the files are actually being saved to the teacher server (S drive). The files on the server are backed up regularly with the exception of the following extensions *.avi, *.mp3, *.wav, *.exe, *.m4n, *.mts (please backup these exception files to an external source manually).

You can use ilocker from your home computer to access files you have saved to the network. If you need directions on how to do this please e-mail me.
